Coverage begins after your scheduled departure time. This means your coverage initiates when you embark on your flight, car, or train journey. Please be aware that your home country is excluded.

Yes, please purchase separate coverage for every individual traveling.
You can travel up to 180 days in total within 365 days from the start of your coverage. Please note that you are covered for the first 45 days of each trip.
If you have a broker, please contact them to receive their code. If you don't have a broker, please reach out to us directly at brokercode@dhig.net.
The best time is typically right after you've booked your trip. This ensures that you're covered for any unexpected events that may occur 30 days before the actual departure date and prior to the last 48 hours before your scheduled trip.
If you decide to cancel your insurance contract before it starts or within the first 30 days after it begins (known as the cooling-off period), you'll get a full refund of the premium you paid. This refund will be issued within 20 business days of receiving your cancellation notice.

However, if you cancel after the cooling-off period has passed, or after you've received medical treatment or assistance covered by the insurance, you won't be eligible for a refund of the premium, unless otherwise specified in the contract.
